Happy Telluri New Year everybody!

We had a delightful New Year in Virchers with people dropping in and out as different new years came and went for different time zones. here are a few of us dancing at the dear old Embie in the final hours of Telluri twenty-oh-eight:

Of course, it is still 3328 so it doesn't really feel like a New Year at all, but one does feel as if a new start has - um - started. So much change and development in the air! I do hope we'll see y'all at the College Opening.

We are still in the Year of Sai Sushuri until the real new year in Spring, and I hope that love and Amity will continue to blossom (and next year too, of course). It has been a time of testing as well as bonding, but we are ready to forge ahead.

My dear Cousin gave me a delightful elektra-present at the time of our New Year (mean timezone-wise, not culture-wise) and I thought I would share it with y'all. I just love it!

Wasn't it a splendid, impromptu gathering? The Tellurian New Year always fills one with a kind of new hope, and I do believe that Sushuri-chei is correct: The time ahead will be filled with progress, and amity, for all of us.

Happy New Year!

P.S. And the nice thing is we get to celebrate Aristasian New Year as well.

Rayati all!

The splendid Miss Bethune has solved a problem for me and the other teenie scholars. Since it now seems the custom to wear hats or veils to Chapel I found myself wearing my triangular Japanese kasa with my uniform.

However Miss Bethune has kindly made me the loveliest school hat that looks as if it was made for our teenie uniform because - um - it was!

Your hat looks wonderful! Perfect for the teenies! Miss Bethune is sure a sweet heart!

By the way: Since I have adopted a teenie persona, am I required to wear a uniform the next time we meet?

Miss Bethune is wonderful! That hat looks simply perfect!

Is it only for full scholars, or may I have one please, please, please?

Rayati,
Charlotte

Well since the teenie uniform is used for novice teenies and the hat is part of the teenie uniform I imagine you should have the hat.

Anyway - you will need something to go with your uniform in chapel too!

I am so glad to know that you like the hat, darling! You do look quite smart in it. Since it's full permission, you (and any other girls) can resize it to fit over most hairstyles.

Y'all are too sweet, and I am delighted to have performed some small service to the community. *blush*

Oh, Miss Madonna, that looks absolutely darling on you! What a talented milliner Miss Bethune is.

I must echo Miss Laraway in the desire for one of my own!

Among the teenies of Virtualia there tend to be various crazes for dressing up and different things. Lately there is a fashion for dressing as maids.

Here are teenies, (left to right) Menxia Yu, Mati Kira and Sushuri Madonna in maid dress. Interspersing them are Miss Adele Poppy not in maid dress, and Miss Julianna Juliesse, in maid dress but not a teenie. However she has been declared an honorary member of the Teenie Club.

All the gardeny-pettes are so very clever!

I am not a gardeny shroom but I do have friends in the castle yard!

Here they are:

Aren't they the cutest? I have wanted yard-shrooms for quite a while, but they are so expensive! These little darlings popped up in a dollar store. There was only one set of them left and I found them on a very unhappy and worrying day.

I feel Dea was saying "don't worry little shroom - magical things will happen".

they are so lovely, Miss Madonna! Great find!
And I recognize the salad in front of them...it's edible!
Happy celebration, to everypette!

I just have to tell you about the most wonderful thing! It is called a Joyful Mushie!

Honored Yu-chei showed it to me a while ago, and I have to confess I kept sneaking back to her Webby-site just to look at her. These have been difficult times for me, and just the look of her jolly face cheered me up.

And then yesterday she came to me in a little box. Darling Yu-chei had ordered her for me. It was simply the most wonderful surprise ever!

There was a shroomy button too, which I wear all the time, and some lovely stickers.

Darling Yu-chei! How wonderfully sweet of her!

And, Miss Viola, I tried your salad idea. It works! Heehee!
